Everyone has different training and development needs depending on their personal background and objectives for learning or improving their sailing skills.
Our aim is to ensure your specific needs and requirements are met. We can assist you with many practical courses on your own boat or a charter boat of your choice.
- All of our courses can be run in a number of ‘partner’ sailing schools in the UK and overseas
[all prices on application dependent on requirements and venue; for example a 5 day Day skipper practical course in the Solent is around £600 per person; a 6 day (7 nights onboard} is around Euros 800]

- Sailing Familiarisation
This 2 day course is designed to ‘show you the ropes’. Suitable for those who have not sailed before or for those that have ‘had a go’ but require a little more confidence; perfect for introducing family and friends to the sport. - Flotilla Holiday Preparation
This 2 day course is great if you are going on a Flotilla Holiday but want to build you and your crews’ confidence in advance. - Skills Building
A flexible course which can be run over 3 – 5 days and can cover: Confined Waters, Sail Trimming, Downwind sailing (inc. poling out & spinnakers). - Miles Building
If you want to gain experience and confidence when sailing longer distances in less familiar waters, miles building is right for you. - Yacht Race Training
If you are interested in developing your yacht racing skills this is the course for you. Training includes Yacht Race Training, Rules & Tactics, Foredeck & Bow Work, Helming and Sail Trim.
